The red sunflower represents the dreamlike, the stronger version of what the slouched, broken sunflower can transform into. It stands tall and covers the sunlight for the other, at times it appears toxic even if it isn’t real and just a pressured thought created by the blue sunflower.  A thought, that can hover over the fallen flower, with what-ifs and so the dreamt version of themselves brings them down, tears at them deep at their core. The dream becomes their enemy and nightmare at times.
The blue sunflower still hanging on, though its blue yarn weighs it down and tangles it up, it has the hope of what it can become, a tall, strong flower if it keeps trying. It believes on the good days, it will grow into its dream self, other days it thinks it is only meant to fall and wither away. Intertwine with each other by just their yarn, one can not exist without each other.
